Internship

• Students complete 280 hours at a business location under the supervision of a mentor in the areas of computer programming/web development, electronics/pre-engineering, computer networking/PC repairs, and media arts.
  
• Hiring Times for Senior Interns:
  • Summer Intern (280 hours)
    • Hire in May
    • Begin Internship in June
    • 20-25 hours per week
  • Fall-Spring Intern (280 hours)
    • Hire in Early September
    • Intern Hours Monday-Friday 1:00-5:00 PM on school days: School Calendar
    • 10-20 hours per week

Projects

• A project provides students with the opportunity to apply both customer service and technical skills linking to the business community.
• These projects are compeleted under the direction of technology teachers and is an extra volunteer student project.
• This project is in addition to the regular course work.
• Student compensation will be in the form of volunteer service hours, stipends, and/or scholarships.
