A staple of MTCHS is the tech party. Held several times a year, tech parties attract a majority of the students at MTCHS, as well as gamers from all over the area. In an average tech party we will have anywhere from 100 to 150 people buy tickets and show up at the party. Our main attractions are the Battlefield 2 and Call of Duty tournaments, but we also have many other features, including an MS Paint competition, Dance Dance Revolution, various console gaming, and traditional door prizes, which normally last all through the night. We also, of course, have a large area where anyone can set up their computers and do as they please (school appropriate, of course) over the network. With the ticket tech partiers receive a voucher for two pieces of pizza and two vouchers for a canned drink. Normally we consume about 30 pizzas.
