Short Description/Qualifications:

Overall Requirements, secondary level, grades 9-12

    • Meet or be able to meet/obtain teaching certification and endorsement requirements by September 1, 2017. If you are unsure if your certification or endorsements will meet the requirements, please contact MTCHS Principal Randy Yadon at 208.288.2928.
    • Endorsed in Secondary Math (Economics, Business, could be helpful) Information on alternative routes to certification for Math credential. http://www.sde.idaho.gov/cert-psc/cert/non-trad.html
    • Career & Technical Instructor: Information Technology, Web & Media, and/or Computer Science. Industry experience can be applied to obtaining this certification. (https://cte.idaho.gov/about/new-teachers/)
    • West Ada School District # 2 salary schedule
    • Strong collaborative skills/interpersonal skills
    • Small, unique, and structured learning environment
    • Teaching experience preferred
    • Industry experience preferred
    • Strong organization skills
    • Ability to work with a team in a project-based learning environment
  • Math
    • Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, College Algebra, Business Math
    • 5+ Years of teaching experience or Masters in the content area preferred
  • Career & Technical Instructor: Information Technology, Web & Media, and/or Computer Science
    • Have or be able to obtain Industry Certification. Possible Certifications include but not limited to Adobe Certified Associate, Comptia A+, Java, SQL
    • Be able to teach some of the following topic areas: Foundations of HTML/CSS, Web Design, Graphic Design, Media Creation, Programming, Networking and Computing, Robotics, Data Analysis and Databases, and Problem Solving
