Today we had our annual Veterans Day Assembly, where we have the privilege of thanking the veterans and active duty members in our MTCHS community. Thank you so much for the family members who have served our country and were able to attend today. We had representatives of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines! We are so grateful for your sacrifice and service.

Monday November 11th will be a Professional Dress Day for all students. MTCHS Student Government will hold a Veterans Day Assembly in the morning where we will be honoring the service of veterans and active duty members of the Armed Services. We are inviting parents and family members from our community who are veterans or active duty to attend as our guests of honor. An email has been sent to students and families with a link to RSVP. It will be our privilege to introduce them and honor their service.

Spirit Week, sponsored by the MTCHS Student Government, is in full swing! We`re finishing it up with a Halloween Tech Party on Friday, October 25! Festivities run from 3:00 to 8:00, and we`ll have games and activities, pizza and prizes. Wear your costumes, and bring a friend! Students from other schools are welcome. Tickets are $13 for STOR members, $15 for non-STOR members, and $20 at the door! Student Government is happy to announce Prom will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024. We`re so excited about this year`s venue: the Old Idaho Penitentiary! All grades are invited to come join the fun. The theme is Jailbirds and Lovebirds, so grab either a partner in crime or your sweetheart and purchase your Prom tickets at lunch time at the school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays!

The 2023 Holiday Baskets are finished and the staff is voting on the best decorated one! Which class will win first place? They`ve all added their own creative touches, and competition is fierce!
Many thanks to our students and parents who contributed to this wonderful cause! Baskets will be delivered to the Idaho Food Bank this afternoon, to be distributed to families in our community who can use a little extra help this holiday season.
